E-Fidiye Agricultural Platform

Developed a comprehensive digital platform for Somalia's Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation to modernize agricultural services. The system connects farmers, agricultural extension officers, and ministry officials, facilitating resource distribution, knowledge sharing, and agricultural data management nationwide.

As the Backend Developer on this project, I was responsible for:

Technical Challenges & Solutions

Creating a system that could work effectively in rural Somalia with limited internet connectivity was challenging. I implemented offline-first data collection with intelligent synchronization, SMS gateway integration for areas without internet, and GIS mapping for agricultural zone management. The system needed to work reliably across various network conditions while maintaining data integrity.
